But this home remedy is not recommended for those who suffer from heartburn regularly.

Aloe Vera Juice

The juice extracted from the aloe vera plant is a popular home remedy to treat the problem of heartburn. When Aloe vera juice is taken it reduces inflammation and heals the intestinal tract, thus controlling heartburn. It is recommended to drink half a cup of Aloe vera juice before eating a meal. Do not drink too much Aloe vera juice in a day as it can cause diarrhea and abdominal pain.


Fresh ginger is also a popular way to get relief from heartburn. Ginger can be helpful in two ways – it can absorb acid from the stomach and offer nerve-calming effects. You can use ginger for preparing food, eat raw ginger pieces or drink ginger tea.
