Home Remedies to Get Glowing Skin Naturally

Everyone likes to charm with the healthy and good looking skin. But in this pollution surrounded world it is truly a risky job to maintain the great skin at all the times. But through the simple homemade remedies you can get the instant freshness, clear and glowing face.

1. Turmeric

Take turmeric powder and mix lemon juice in it. Make a paste and apply it on your skin. Do not take too much turmeric or else you will end up with a yellow face instead of glowing skin. Let the mask dry, and then, wash off thoroughly with cold water.

2. Sandalwood Powder

Take 2 tablespoons of sandalwood powder and form a paste by adding rosewater in it. Apply it on your face, leave it for 10 to 15 minutes, and then, rinse with cold water and pat dry. Apply a good and mild skin moisturiser afterwards.

3. Banana & Oil Face Mask

Take a ripe banana and mash it using a fork. Make sure, you use a ripe banana; else, it won’t stick on your skin. Add 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil or vegetable oil and mix it well. Apply it on your face and leave it for 20-22 minutes. Wash off thoroughly with normal water.

4. Eggs & Honey

Take the egg and separate egg whites as you are going to need the white part only. Now, add 1 tablespoon of honey and mix it well. Apply it on your face and leave it for 15 minutes. Honey will brighten up your skin while egg whites will tighten your skin. Wash off after 15 minutes. You will notice the difference.

5. Curry Leaves

Take curry leaves powder and mix it with fuller’s earth. Apply it on the face for clean and dust-free skin. Curry leaves will remove the dirt, and fuller’s earth will give your skin a beautiful shine. This pack will make your skin pimple-free and improve your skin texture.

6. Gram Flour, Milk & Lemon Juice

Take 2 tablespoons of gram flour. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of milk in it. Apply it on your skin and let it dry. Wash off after 15-20 minutes with warm or lukewarm water. This mask works for all skin types.

7. Turmeric Powder and Orange Juice

Take turmeric powder and add orange juice to form a smooth paste. Apply it on your face and gently massage in a circular motion. Leave this mask for 20 minutes. Then, thoroughly wash off the face. You will notice the difference after 20 minutes.

8. Yogurt & Honey

Take 2 tablespoon of yogurt and 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix it well and apply it on your skin. Leave it for 15 minutes. After that, wash off with normal water. Yogurt will moisturise the skin and honey will help in clearing the skin texture and make it fairer. You can use this face pack on the daily basis.

Else, take 1 tablespoon of honey and add 2 tablespoon of milk (raw and un-boiled) in it along with 1 tablespoon of gram flour. Mix them together and apply on your face. This facemask will make your skin look fair, instantly.

9. Fruit Pack

Take the pulp of papaya, avocado, and cucumber and mix well. Add 2 tablespoons of cream in it to make a smooth paste and apply it on the face. Leave this pack for 20 minutes. Next, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Fruit pack will add glow on your skin that you always wished for.

Note- If you have oily skin, avoid cream as it will make your skin oilier. Instead of cream, use 1 tablespoon of fuller’s earth.

10. Oatmeal & Cinnamon Scrub

Take 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and ½ tablespoon of cinnamon powder along with 1-2 tablespoons of milk. Mix them all together and apply it on the face. Gently massage it like a scrub. Leave it for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

Dos and Don’ts to Get Glow on the Skin

  1. Drinking plenty of water serves several purposes, including the good health of your skin.
  2. Eat fresh fruits and drink juices.
  3. Eat healthy.
  4. Do not use too much makeup as it can harm your skin.
  5. Whatever you are applying on your skin, test it on your hands first, and avoid using it if you feel stingy.
  6. Before going to bed, don’t forget to remove your makeup.
  7. Take at least 8 hours of sleep.
  8. Don’t smoke.
  9. Drink green tea.
  10. Do exercise or yoga.
